October 19 Newsletter

Hi All,

Ah Fall, what a wonderful season. I really don’t know how people can live somewhere where there is no Fall. Just love it.

Your response to the big cotton sale was great and we now have room for (almost) all of the new yarn. But, as everyone loves a good sale, all Rowan will be a whopping 25% off today through Saturday. We are also going to have a bunch of sample garments on sale. These are things that have been in the shop for a while and it’s time to replace them with new things. So stop by and see if anything strikes your fancy.

We have had to order more Addi needles so if you are waiting for a particular size the order should be in sometime this week.

Hope you all saw last week’s Outlook newspaper. Barbara Burns, friend, customer and Outlook editor did a great job writing our story. Pick up a copy and check it out. Thanks again Barbara!

Also, the Wednesday sock class didn’t make; too many of you work. So, if you are interested in a Saturday morning class (class will be three Saturday mornings, 9:30-11 a.m.) please let us know as soon as possible and we will get it scheduled. And don’t forget, you can always schedule a private sock (or anything else for that matter) class. Price is, as for all private classes, $10 per hour plus cost of materials. A 10% discount will be given for materials.

That’s about it for this week. Enjoy this gorgeous weather, get going on those Christmas projects, and, as always, keep knitting.

Ann
